Code F112 appeared The cooktop kept beeping, The light stayed on showing that the left front burner was hot but it wasn't. Tried turning circuit breaker off for a few minutes. It cleared everything except the light came back on for hot burner.

No recalls that I know of. The switch for that burner has shorted and will need to be replaced. It will be fine once it is repaired.

SOURCE: Right front (large) burner indicates hot, won't work, flashes F153
I hade a code 153 also. Changed the element(costly-$200) and had to recalibrate the pan sensors(in the manual). All works fine now.

Hi JHMcdona
Most likely the electrode for the right burner is defective. As well as the switch may also be defective (is shorted because of pressing hard on it trying to make it work!!). Change the electrode and igniter switch of the right front burner.

Take a look at the solutions that have been posted regarding igniters. i suspect a dirty or wet push-down knob. you will see that others have had water/moisture causing problems. drying mights solve it, but it may need a a bit of a clean. keep trying. it must have taken me a couple of hours to solve.

I have the same problem. I had a repair man here and he said the main powder logic board ( WB23T10014) was the problem, it would cost $757 to fix. I ordered the board for $230 and installed it myself but still have the F113 problem.
