If you are using thermal paper and don't have to use ribbon, you will only need to spread apart the roll holsters and place the roll in there, At the front of the printer, next to the printhead and the pressure roll you will find two paper guides which you can spread apart (depending on the exact model by muving them with the fingers or by turning a wheel in the right hand side of the pressure roll. feed the paper through them guides and close the printer.

Ensure that the printing surface is at the top.

My zebra z4mplus printer loads all the labels on the roll and when load the labels in the printer and turn the machine on. How can I make the printer stop loading after one label comes out?

I think your printer is set to print on Continuos media. If you use gap labels, you will need to set the printer from the menu on NOT CONTINUOS, then save the setting. In some cases the software or driver is the one who controls this setting. So you will need to change directly in the printer driver. You will find this option on the General tab (click Properties then) and Advanced tab (click on Printing Defaults). There you will have a list with printing parameters like speed, darkness, media type. Adjust as you need to fulfill your request. But first change directly to the printer, accessing the menu from control panel.

I am using a Zebra S4M Thermal printer with Zebra brand labels. I changed out the roll of labels with a new roll and it will not print. It completed the task like it always does but i only get a blank...

The new labels are probably not thermal labels. Test them by applying heat to the surface and see if they turn black. If they do not change, then they are thermal transfer labels and not direct thermal. Contact your label vendor and have them replaced.

When i try print the label..no output at the label..how to test whether the ink is function or not

I'm including this link to the users manual:

http://www.zebra.com/id/zebra/na/en/index/resource_library/manuals.results.html

But here is the basic troubleshooting info for that issue

No print on the label. The media may not be direct thermal media when printing without ribbon (i.e. thermal
transfer). See the test procedure

Determining Thermal Media Types on page 29.
• For thermal transfer printers, the media may not be outside wound or approved for use in
the G-Series printer. See the following ribbon test procedures: Ribbon Test with Adhesive
on page 32

and Ribbon Scratch Test on page 33.
• Is the media loaded correctly? Follow the instructions for

Loading Roll Media on page 11
in the Getting Started section. For printing using transfer ribbon, see

Loading Transfer Ribbon
on page 14.

Changed rolls of labels on Zebra GX 420T and now nothing prints

Were the new labels thermal paper? Thermal printers need specially made paper to work right.

I can't feed the new label roll into the printer on a Zebra 2844-Z Thermal Printer. I don't want to batch.

Label rolls for TLP-2844-Z are wound out, the roll will come over from the top and feed through the two paper guides. If you are using fanfold feed through the slot at the rear of the printer.

Just one of the double tags is printed on

I assume by double tags you mean 2 labels across the roll.
You need to tell your software that the roll is 2 across.
If using the software that comes with the printer, Zebra designer.
Set your label width to twice the single label and copy the barcode so that you have 2 across the label, then print

Changed roll of labels, now it won't print...

Warren
one side of the paper will be sensitive to heat and the other side won't be. If it is thermal paper run a pen without the actual ink part sticking out of the pen or use a key from your key ring in your pocket over the paper the friction should leave marks on the thermal side of the paper.
you may have the paper in with the non thermal side facing the heat printing part of the paper. Or you have the wrong paper.
