I am trying to set up a used Panasonic PT-AX200U projector. All that is happenings that the blue screen shows, and the input display flashes on and off. /i can set it to the right input, but when I push enter nothing happens. It just conitnues to flash the image for the the input choices. Any idea what is going on?

Obviously this is not the first lamp you have replaced in you projector. These are great projectors however, the LCD panels expire quite quickly. You will find that the spots are related to the LCD panels needing to be replaced. This is not an inexpensive maintainence solution as the panels cost about $1500 each.

Press the MENU button. Use the < > arrows to get to the OPTION menu. Press the ENTER button. Select LAMP RUN TIME. Press and hold the ENTER button for about 3 seconds. The 'lamp time reset' will display. Press OK and press the ENTER button. This will reset the lamp hours as well as turn off the projector.

I have the same problem. It seems we have to reset the counter. This reset must be done via the beamer itself and not via remote control, since lamp is not working...
