Question about Beverage-Air Kegerator - Beer Keg Cooler Refrigerators DD48 2 Keg Space Saver by Beverage Air
I have an older Beverage-Air single keg kegerator that works great without a keg inside, but once I place a keg inside, the temperature rises to about 50 degrees. Everything seems to be running right and you can hear the compressor turning on and off. The kegerator is in my garage where the temperature at this time of year is between 40 and 50 degrees.
It can take a very long time to get a keg of beer down in temperature. The heat transfer from a keg is slow due to the lack of air circulation inside the keg. You should also check your condenser coils, make sure they are clean. Door gasket should also be in good repair. Hope this helps.

The internal temp will get down to 40 degrees but the fans won't shut off. We had to move it and when it defrosted, a lot of ice fell off the coils.
