Question about Alpine CDE-9843 CD Player
Alpine cde-9843 . i hand it in and working for three days then no sound. the ( PWR / power-ic ) is on and i had a pro wire the speakers and the fuse is good. i dont have subs or amps just stock door speakers that are good and i find the OEM manual is no help. can eneyone help?
Try a CD lens cleaner[A disk with a little brush and a bottle of fluid. But be prepared for a new player - once the lasers goes its trash can time.

Setting Time
1 In the Clock priority mode, press and hold
TITLE for at least 2 seconds while the time is
displayed.
The time indication will blink.
2 Turn the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/CDE-9843
only) or press 4 and 3 (CDE-9841 only) to adjust
the hours while the time indication is blinking.
3 When the hour has been adjusted, press the
Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/CDE-9843 only) or
press MODE (CDE-9841 only).
4 Turn the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/CDE-9843
only) or press 4 and 3 (CDE-9841 only) to adjust
the minutes while the time indication is blinking.
The time is automatically set 5 seconds after the minute
adjustment. The time can also be manually set by
pressing the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/CDE-9843 only)
or press MODE (CDE-9841 only).
• To synchronize the clock to another clock/watch or radio time
announcement, press and hold the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/
CDE-9843 only) or press and hold MODE (CDE-9841 only) for at
least 2 seconds after setting the "hour." Minutes will reset to 00. If
the display shows over "30" minutes when you do this, the time
will advance one hour.

I ahve installed an Alpine CDE 134BT in a 2003 Hyundai XG350L the system powers up but no sound can be heard- I have checked the Power IC setting and that does not help. I am using the Best Buy wiring harness adapter and all connections are mechincally sound
