MY RECEIVER WHEN IN STANDBY MODE OR POWERED OFF DOES NOT STORE MY PERSONAL SETTINGS, SUCH AS SPEAKER VOLUME, DELAY ADJUSTMENTS, ETC. IT LOOSES EVERY SETTING EACH TIME I SETUP. IS IT THE CAPACITOR? SHOULD I BUY A NEW RECEIVER? PLEASE HELP!
Hi there, RikSound1. The problem is the C657 capacitor, located on the DSP PCB. It's a 0.047 farad capacitor, 5.5V. You can either replace it yourself, or just hand the info out at your local repair centre ! It will fix the problem for sure, i have fixed that problem already. Thanks, cheebster.

If this is an older type receiver, yes there is a special capacitor inside to control the memory. Where it is at is the trouble. I do not remember. You will need to get a service manual to locate it. Good Luck
