Remove the burner caps (where the gas and flame come out) and wash in warm soapy water, using a plastic toothbrush like brush to scrub thoroughly.

Also clean/scrub the burner bases and ignition knob on the top of the cooktop.

When you reassemble, make sure the burner caps are properly seated in the burner bases.

The electronic ignitor on front right burner no longer works.

All ignitors should fire regardless of which burner is turned on. See if the right front will light up if you turn on another burner or look for a spark. If not, the ignitor is probably fouled and needs a good cleaning. If the right front burner will spark or ignite when a different burner is turned on, it is the right front control switch - not an easy fix. When cleaning the cook top, if you remove the knobs, any liquid that gets into the switches will short them out. Found that out the hard way.

Spark ignition clicks every 5 or 10 minutes with burner valves off it is not continus spark it sparks once

Sounds like one of the four switches attached to the burner control knob may have failed where the switch does not fully open. This could be due to moisture or grease having seeped into the burner control/switch.

You can find a wiring diagram for this unit at www.SearsPartsDirect.com by typing in your model number.

Burner switches got wet, sparked, daughter put baking soda on them, and two front burners won't light.

I also got too much liquid into control switch area & had sparks. Mine needed a new electronic ignition system. I purchased my range in Jan 06 and they are covering it under warranty now, Nov 08. To open the top, unscrew 2 small screws inside the front top oven. Then unscrew all 5 burners (10 screws). Then you should be able to open the lid about 12". Repairman propped mine open with a screwdriver while he worked under there.

No spark, I want to open to fix it.

The spark module may have failed. It is probably located under the top.
To remove top, the mounting screws for each burner assembly will have to be removed.
Each burner is secured to the top with 2 to 3 screws. It will be necessary to remove all screws on each burner in order to remove the top. USE CAUTION!. Do not force the screws if they seem tight. These screws will often corrode. Forcing them out could break them. The best method, if tight, is to move them back and forth (tighten a little, loosen a little, tighten a little, loosen a little etc.) until the corrosion breaks free.
Once the burners are removed, there may be two spring clips holding the front to the cabinet. Is so, insert a putty knife and push until the top comes free.

If you need further assistance, please let me know

Replacing control valve/burner valve switch

This just started to happen to ours too. It's because you can't get let water get into the valve/switch assembly. Ours got so much water in there that it was making huge sparks and flames which charred up the switches. You may have to replace the whole 5-burner igniter switch assembly. I think it's part number 74010753. To access, remove 2 screws under the front of stovetop. open Top oven door to access. remove the 2 screws that hold the gas valve assembly. Remove 2 screws out of each burner assembly. Remove the green grounding wire on the right hand corner of stove top. The stove top will come off revealing the 5 white igniter switch assembly which is all wired together in parallel. Remove the large metal panel on the rear. There are two wires that are off the 5-burner switch assembly that you unplug. Replace this whole assembly and the problem should be fixed. Hope this helps

Igniters won't stop poppong

Sing, sounds like you got one of your burner valve switches wet and it's grounding out. Try taking a hair dryer, pull of the burner knobs and going lightly over the control valves. The switches are mounted to these valves. It just may need to be dried out. If this doesn't work, one of the switches shorted out. Catriver..post back.
