Dryer was working fine (nice and quiet), when the flow sensor went off, and stopped the dryer. I cleaned out the filter, and restarted it. The dryer started making a vibration spinning noise like it was rattling from within. If you spin the drum manually, once you reach a certain speed, it starts the rattling until it slows a little. Would this be the rollers? O rmaybe the belt has sttretched? I noticed that I can push the drum towards the back of the unit and pull it forward a little more than usual (at least it seems looser.
SOURCE: hotpoint aquarius vtd00 dryer starts ok then slows down and stops
sounds like your bearings have gone at the back off your drum behind the small middle panel try turning it by hand if it starts scrapping straight away then u need to replace the bearings m8
SOURCE: asko t761 dryer drum will not start rotating and belt is not broken
check the motor cap or belt on the pulley correctly
SOURCE: dryer motor
if the motor buzzes when you push start then it is a bad motor.as long as the drum turns freely by hand.
SOURCE: won't spin or start
Sounds like the screen/sock combo got the tub in a bind and the drum belt broke.
If you want to pursue replacing the belt, let me know.
SOURCE: dryer drum will not spin when you push start button.
can you hear the motor running? if so its probably a broke belt

The blower wheel draws air through the dryer
and pushes the air out the vent. If the dryer won't stop, the blower
wheel may not be spinning properly, which reduces the air flow. Check to
see if the blower wheel is securely fastened to the drive motor shaft.

The heating element assembly warms the air
before the air enters the dryer drum. If the dryer won't stop, it may be
because the heating element assembly isn't working - which greatly
increases the drying time. Check the heating element for continuity.

Although not as common, if the dryer won't
stop it may be because the moisture sensor is either defective or coated
with fabric softener. Clean the moisture sensor contacts inside the
