Apps I own a Motorola W315, I tried to download ring tones and stuff but it says it's unable to retrieve catalog. Someone please help!

1. Push Menu
2. Choose Settings (Wrench icon)
3. Then Ring Styles
4. Choose the second option (Ends in the word "Details")
5. Change the ringer for messages to be different then calls

2. Once installed, please connect your unit to the Data Cable and then to your computer
   
3. The Download Apps Utility will install"Download Apps" into the Java Apps menu. Once the "Download Apps" isinstalled use it to reinstall you default Java Apps from the"Re-download" section.

From the main menu, select the bell icon to the left, then select loud detail and scroll down to key volume and set it to 0.

did the tones come pre installed on the phone? why dont you try using mp3 ring tones? download mp3 songs on your phone, then you can set them as ring tones. they work much beter than ordinary ring tones

(If you are charging you phone inside your house) First make sure you have power to the receptacle you are using. test this by plugging in a lamp or radio into the receptacle you will be using.

I own the same phone and I have found that the phone has a small rubber cover that goes over the charging port. It's hinged but I found that it has to be removed in order to charge it because the charger can't connect securely with the rubber cover on the phone.

(If your are using a mobile charger) I have observed that my phone has a short in the mobile charger also and changes the ring tone after I charge it. My phone rings 1/2 of the time and I have found that this is a fault of the mobile phone charger. It charges the phone w/o any problem but the connection from the mobile charger is loose. This shorts out something inside the phone and changes my ring tone automatically.

NO you will just have to get a new phone. they are junk
