One long and 3 shorts beep on Asus Motherboard is video error, either the video adapter is malfunctioning, or the video card is not well plugged int its PCI or AVG slot.

If video adapter is built in motherboard you need to buy an external video adapter, or to replace the motherboard.

If video card is an external one, must be taken aout and placed back to test it, if it is faulty replace it.

Check your Cooling Fan. Sounds a LOT like the fan is getting Sluggish and not cooling the Board Properly.

User Profile Service service failed after factory reset and unable to access troubleshoot services: Windows 10

It seems that your computer is stuck in a boot loop and you are unable to access the troubleshoot services. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Disconnect all external devices from your computer, except for the keyboard and mouse, and restart the computer.
  2. If that does not work, try to access the Advanced Startup Options by holding down the shift key while clicking on the Restart option in the Start menu.
  3. If you are unable to access the Advanced Startup Options, you can try to create a Windows 10 installation media on a USB drive using another computer and then boot your computer from the USB drive.
  4. Once you are able to access the Advanced Startup Options, you can try using the Startup Repair tool to fix any issues with the boot process.
  5. If that does not work, you can try using the System Restore tool to restore your computer to an earlier point in time when it was working properly.
  6. If none of these steps work, you may need to consider reinstalling Windows on your computer.
It is also possible that there is a hardware issue causing the problem, in which case you may need to take your computer to a professional for repair.

It was working good all of sudden screen became black and the PXE E61

It seems to have lost communication with the hard drive. Check physically (pop out and then back in) and in BIOS. Make sure its the 1st boot option.

Also disable PXE boot in BIOS or remove from 1st boot option. This is a LAN (network) boot option.

My Fathers toshiba turns on for a few seconds (with lights, fan, and a all black screen) then suddenly just turns of!!! What do i do??? HELP

If your laptop appears to boot up and the hard disk LED flashes, then the problem is probably a back light fault. This can be a faulty inverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. Please click on this link and follow my instructions to identify the fault and possible fix :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3598095-faulty_laptop_lcd_screen

Screen went black while watching movie but light is still on

press the centre button + menu button  /or/   centre button + play button, during 10 seconds, it will restart and luckily it will work ok.
If that doesn't work, connect it to the computer, open iTunes, and  the menu where the ipod is shown click "restore", this will whipe out your ipods memory. If even this doesn't work... take it to an Apple store.

Can't get pass the background screen when pc load

The sequence is:
a) The Dell bios splash screen is displayed,
b) the screen will go black,
c) the disk activity light will flash for about 5 - 7 seconds, then will remain off.
d) you force a power off,
e) wait a few seconds,
f) then turn the machine back on.
g) The bios splash screen is displayed,
h) then a black screen with white text is displayed, reporting that Windows was not shut down nicely and would I like to boot into safe mode or safe mode with networking, or others.
g1) If you choose Safe Mode, Windows will boot up successfully. If I restart, the computer will usually (probably) boot into Windows fine.
g2) If you choose Boot Normally, the computer will usually (probably) enter the black and hung state.
see if that helps and the if possible do a do a system restore to when the system was working correctly.

Computer restarts by itself continuously and does not boot up completely

hi im wesley. ok to restore to factory settings go to your bios witch is when you boot up and press delete to enter setup thwn at the bottom of the screen it will say like F5 for default settings press that button and it will reset if it doesnt work open the computer up and take the power out and take the battery out for bout 10 minutes and then place it back in along with the power and it will reset. you might have to format your hard drive because it might be a virus that keeps rebooting your computer i had the same problem once.
