This phone allows you to independently set ring and vibrate modes. When you access "Call Vibrate" to set the mode, also visit the "Call Ringtone" menu to turn off the ringer.
You may want to leave the vibrate mode OFF and your ring tone ON and use the quick keys to switch between ring and vibrate. Two ways to do this, push and hold the # key to switch between normal mode (the settings you chose in "Call Ringtone" and "Call Vibrate") or use the side volume button to access the "Master Volume" and select "All Off", "Vibrate" or a ring tone volume.
take the phone and have it checked....i am wonder if the phone has been in contact with any water, if it is making the vibrating noise, take it to a repair center and have it checked.
you phone sounds like a ws in water....but you mainboard is faulty....best to buy a new board or purchase a new phone....makes no sense getting it repaired the problem will still presist after awhile.
