When I set the Webcam settings to follow me, the webcam tracks my face. But when I shutdown and restart the laptop the face-tracking has returned to off. I'm running XP Pro Logitech says this setting is stored in the registry and they won't supply this info. Have searched the registry but couldn't find any registry entry that could fix this problem. Does anyone have a fix.
Make sure you have installed the latest software from Logitech's website. Be sure to UNPLUG the cam when installing, and ONLY plug it in when it tells you to do so.
Also, what service (msn, yahoo) are you trying to use face tracking in? Keep in mind that MSN, Yahoo, etc have their own camera settings, which may over-ride any default settings.
