Uninstall itunes, and any drivers/services related to ipod. You'll see that in the add/remove window in the control panel. Now install itunes with the latest version. just go at www.apple.com/itunes And finally reconnect the ipod after the installation.

All MagicJack Power Adapters provide 5v DC through USB interface. Until replacement can be obtained, you can plug MagicJack into your computer USB port (computer must stay on to provide power however)

My philips gogear vibe wont turn on

Reset your GoGear with something sharp like the tip of a pen or the end of a paper clip,

if you're device isn't working properly or there's a frozen display.

Insert the sharp object into the "Reset" hole (located at the bottom of the player), and hold it there until the device turns off.

If resetting the device does nothing to restore the display, access the "Philips Device Manager" through your computer to recover the GoGear.

Click "Start" on your computer, then "Programs," "Philips Digital Audio Player," "Aria Device Manager," and then "Philips Device Manager."

This will launch the "Philips Device Manager." Make sure the GoGear is turned off completely. Connect your GoGear to your computer while holding down the "Volume Up" button.

Continue to hold the "Volume Up" button on your GoGear, until the "Philips Device Manager" recognizes the device and enters recovery mode.

Click the "Repair" button when it appears on your computer, then folow the steps to fully recover the GoGear.

Properly disconnect your GoGear from your computer and restart the device.

Recharge your device if your GoGear dies suddenly while playing.

Connect the GoGear to your computer via the supplied USB cord.

Plug one end of the USB cord into a functional, open USB port on your computer. Plug the free, smaller end of the USB cord firmly into the small USB jack on your GoGear and turn your computer on.

This will begin the charging process of your GoGear.

If recharging doesn't work, the battery may need to be replaced.

Check that your GoGear isn't in standby mode. Hold the "Power" button for two seconds to turn it back on.

hope this helps

My wireless keyboard suddenly is not working, almost all keys. Battery is good and some keys work, but it's not normal

Things to try:
  • unplug USB connector and plug in a different USB port if available
  • locate wireless reset button and press, type various keys over the next 10-20 seconds
  • clean keyboard thoroughly
  • reinstall keyboard drivers
  • last resort: check warranty and replace keyboard if still under warranty
I hope this helps.

Samsung shr-1040 when camera is plug in work for a few seconds than shut off completly

First you must make sure that the computers USB port is actually finding your camera the best way is to use USBDeview

This software will give you tonnes more info about your USB hubs and ports and can also be set to balloon when it sees a new USB device.

The best function of Nirsoft excellent Freeware standalone application is that you can display disconnected USB devices and remove them if required and try to reinstall the drivers if there are conflicting.

Try restoring it...here's how...
  1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.

  4. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo.
  5. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button andiTuneswill display the recovery mode message:

If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, then disconnect the USB cable from iPhone and repeat steps 3-6.
After this you'll need to jailbreak it too....

sounds like bad news - if the flash (update to firmware) failed during update, the item is more than likely dead. Warranty return possible? Can you try another usb device on that same pc? just to verify the usb ports are working properly and supplying proper power to the devices.
