Shooting when i shoot a picture, it goes right to a screen which i think is a macro screen where you can zoom in real far. it is not set to macro and i've put it on normal, but it won't stop doing it. what do i do?

Difficult to go on only does not make sharp pictures anymore.
Seeing one picture says more than 1000 words. Still I give it a try.
When you are sure you did not change the focus settings and don't switch over to macro settings, while shooting normal, I can't help. But I do advice to look in the manual on page 41 and put the camera in Auto focus. (Not one of the macro modes) then when shooting, wait till the camera has focused, while you pressed the shutter realise button half. When the camera is in focus, the square in the middle of the screen becomes green, press the button down. (without moving the camera)
Also select a high resolution (big photo size) because small photo size is easy seen as a blurred picture.

most cameras come with an option called macro,this setting is for close up shots.on your camera it needs to set at wide angle.when choosing the shooting mode move left or right and choose the icon of a flower.if you adjust the zoom, a zoom bar will appear at the top of the lcd.if you try to use a zoom not intended for macro shots the flower icon will gray out and the bar will appear yellow,if you take a picture with the yellow bar it will be blurry.if you zoom out a little until it stops you should be ok. if you use a flash in macro mode the images edges usually will darken.hope this helps.

Hi. As a pro photographer, I can tell you what 'macro' does on all cameras or lenses. 'Macro' focusing is for focusing on close objects, say an inch or two from the lens to a couple of feet. It is for closeup shots, say ants, or a fly, or someone's eye, raindrops on glass, etc. Try it out sitting on a patterned countertop or table or tablecloth to give you an idea, focusing far away and up close.
As far as the manual, there doesn't seem to be anything on the official site unfortunately. Good luck and have fun.

The MACRO MODE focus range of the D-630 is .4 inches to 26 inches. This means the camera must be between 0.4 inches and 26 inches from the subject for the picture to be in focus.

The MACRO MODE is easily accessed via the arrow pad on the back of the camera. Press the left arrow key, which has a flower icon, to start the MACRO MODE. Press the down arrow key to select the flower icon in the menu. Then press the OK/MENU button; camera is now set for close-up photography. Remember to turn off the MACRO MODE when you begin shooting subjects beyond the focus range of the MACRO MODE.

The Macro Mode (flower icon button) operating range of the D-595 Zoom camera is 8 inches to 20-inches. This means the camera must be between 8 inches and 20 inches away from the subject for a picture to be in focus when the optical zoom is at it’s greatest wide-angle. The Super-Macro Mode allows you to shoot with the camera as close as 1-inch from the subject. See page 41 of the Advanced Manual in PDF format which is on a separate CD.

The Macro Mode is easily accessed by pressing the second oval shaped button to the left of the arrow pad on the back of the camera. This button is designated by a green colored box with a curved doubled headed arrow – which will rotate the image file when in view mode. The same button also has a flower icon, which represents MACRO MODE when in Shooting mode. Pressing thios button in Shooting Mode displays a menu where you select three options: OFF, Close-Up or Super Close-Up photography.
