Hello,

I have an R10 tablet.
I once asked a Toshiba certified technician if I could remove the screen cover and I was told that I am not supposed to do that.

Maybe you shoul take the unit to a Toshiba repair center in your town, or country.

Hope it helps.

It won't let me use the touch screen

If you have one of the adhesive touch screen protective covers on it. Remove it and try. I have found that over time these screen covers will start to cause sensitivity issues and need to be replaced.

How to clean ipad screen

best is a microfiber towel which you can buy in many shops and can also be cut in small pieces.
  • microfibers lift dust and oils from delicate surfaces without the use of chemicals
  • Ideal for eyeglass lenses, camera lenses, displays, binoculars, microscopes and other delicate surfaces
  • Non-scratching, non-linting
  • Dirt and particles are trapped within knitted tufts of the fibers
  • Ribbon-shaped fibers lift dirt and grease instead of rolling over it

I have a Toshiba Tecra M7 that won't boot and up until this morning nothing worked. This is what I've done so far this morning WHEN it does decide to boot. 1. Power up computer from off with ESC...

Your hard drive may have gone south. Remove it and check with diagnostic software. Bad sectors in critical areas of operating system data will do this.

Clean dust from tablet pc screen

You have to remove the screw covers (the black squares around the screen), remove the screws and gentley pry the cover open with yor finger nails or a flat head screw driver, but be careful not to dent the sides with the screw driver. You can then take a can of air and blow the dust out. I would not touch the sensetive screen under neath. You could take a anti static, micro fiber cloth to wipe off the tough stuff.

Cleaning inside lcd panel for toshiba r15 s829

Remove battery then remove trangular black tabs (2) at the top of the screen. Then remove square silver tabs (4) at the bottom of the flip top. This can be accomplished with either a push pin or sharp knife just get under one corner and peel off. They are just thin pieces of plastic with and adhesive backing. Remove the screws underneath ( 6 in all) with a small screwdriver. Run your fingernail around the entire outside edge of the flip top to pop off the plastic front with screen. Wipe off LCD and inside of the screen with a soft damp cloth; do not spray anything directly on to the LCD. Reverse the above steps and if you were careful you can just reattach the plastic tabs over the screws.
