A05 code is over heat error, unit has to be cleaned thoroughly. take unit apart and clean, I use a rag,brush,vacuum and compressed air. .

You did not post the model number but from the error message it could be the intake filter is dirty. They have a lifetime filter but it has to be cleaned occasionally

Clean the filter and the element. Make sure that they are dry before you re-install them. Check the power cord and socket for damage..

Why does my comfort zone infrared heater shut off after I turn it on? What modes does it have?

My comfort zone infrared hearter has a display message of A05 and will not run, what does that mean? How can I fix it?
Hi. I have the Comfort zone 1500 (cz 1500) and just ran into this AO5 problem. Turns out the thermostat was set lower than the actual room temperature. I just turned up the heater temp and it kicked right on. Hope this helps!

robeson heaters I have a Robeson model 03-2701 portable electric space heater ( fan forced heater / humidifier.) When I use the machine, I note that the portion of the power cord nearest to the electric wall circuit (where I plug it in), becomes very hot to the touch after limited usage. There is no fraying or tearing or cracks in the insulation material around the power cord. So, why is it heating up and what should I do ?
