Hi,
I am trying to connect a 32" sony bravia with a laptop via VGA male-to-male cable.
I am getting"unsupported signal",besides laptop refresh rate is 60 Hz and have tried all possible laptop resolutions.
Now the only solution remains changing Sony resolution,or pc setting of Sony.
Neither is possible.
Pc setting are not highlighted(perhaps not when connection is not established)and I am unable to make changes.
I cant either change Sony resolution from full to normal.
Someone that has identified this problem,or has got any knowledges may help please?
Also,a solution will help other readers who are experiencing the same problem.
Thanks in advance for your time!
Cheers,Tony
'Unsupported Signal' Error indicates that TV is accepting the signals for Video but not able to display because resolution doesn't matches. Else the message would be 'No Signal'.
Follow the steps-
NOTE- Make sure cable is 15 pin(at both ends) VGA cable, working fine between PC & Monitor.
1.The standard resolution of laptop(any) which would support is 1024*768.
2. Toggle the display output from Laptop Fn Keys depending on Laptop Brand.
3. Connect the cable after settings made.
Also PC Settings will not be highlighted until connection is made.
