Question about Remington HC-600 Hair Trimmer
I bought a new HC 600 Hair Clipper two days ago and charged it for the required 16 hours. I used it for the first time this morning and at first it was impressive. However, approximately half-way through the cut the clipper stopped cutting my hair. The sound remained the same and the clipping teeth "appeared" to be working fine, but the thing just pulled at my hair and wouldn't cut as it had been. This was the first use for the clipper and I was dissappointed to find myself with a half-haircut. I had to finish my head with my beard trimmer! The style that I wanted was a simple all over low-grade cut. I do have thick hair but my beard trimmer had little trouble scything through it. Can anyone out there help me to fix the problem? Has anyone else experienced a similar difficulty? I mean this is an impressive product to look at and handle, I just wish it would cut......
To all of you: adjusting the screws won't help, unless you screwed something up yourself, of course LOL The same problem bothered me a few years, and an hour ago I found out it could easily be a single hair stuck between the blades, thus separating them a bit. Get rid of it and the trimmer will probably work again. It can even get out spontaneously, which happened to me and kept me wondering what was going on.
P.S. DON'T lubricate unless you are required to (check your manual) The model I have (HC210c) does't need lubrication, I guess yours is similar to it. And remember that NOT every oily substance is a machine lubricant.

This might be as simple as putting a drop of light oil into the gap between the fixed and moving blades. A.
