I would suspect it in a startup program, say CyberLink. It's set to start at Windows Startup. Open the webcam software for your laptop and disable Start at Windows, OR download CCLEANER freeware at : http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ .This is a good program to learn to use. You can clean the junk from your machine and in the TOOLS section, STARTUP, look for your webcam startup program, disable it. Disable ALL unnessary startup programs to speed boot and shut downs.

Some app is running in the background. Go to settings>apps> and close/disable any app that uses the camera. Then restart the app that you want.

Try find app, type in the name and it will show if it is still on the iPad. If it is not, just go to the Apple store and "buy" it again. Now worry, as soon as you find the correct one, Apple will show a cloud, in stead of the price. All apps you once bought on one account will be available for the time that account exists.

I'm not that good with android tablets, but is there a way you can remove the battery? and then replace the battery after a little while?
When some app is blocking mother one, you should try to reset the tablet and start from scratch. Try to close apps when you no longer use them.

My blackberry storm camera quit working. it says could not start the camera. close other applications and try opening the camera again. i dont have anything else open

if you hold down the blackberry button....(dots).....a menu will pop up ....those are all the apps the you still have open...go into all of them and make sure you manually close them out....choosing the close selection on the menu....and ur camera should come right back on...the same happened to me......

I have recently bought a packard bell easynote mx37-t-003 laptop with an integrated webcam, however after using search commands, scanner and camera app i still cant get it to work! any ideas?

If it is XP, you should just click on the Camera icon in Control Panel. If Vista you have to install an application. Try MSN Messenger and connect to a friend with video link or google picasa.
