SOURCE: Alpine CDE-102 w/usb port: will not
Hello desoren,
The receiver may not be set to recognize MP3 files.
Press and hold "sound setup" until the unit enters setup mode. Rotate the volume knob to "play mode" and press "enter". Check that the setting is CD/MP3 (not CD/MA), or rotate the volume knob to change the setting to CD/MP3 and press enter again. Press and hold "sound setup" again until the unit exits sound setup.
If the files are still not recognized, I'd try using a different USB drive, a different computer to write the MP3's, and/or a different application to download or rip the original music content.
Hope this helps.
SOURCE: i am getting a DC error on my alpine cde-102 head
Hello christo12385,
The DC error is most likely caused by a shorted or grounded speaker wire. Check all speaker wires, correct the problem, and then go into the sound setup settings and reset the POWER IC to ON.
Hope this helps.
