Media player I need a Media player that has a fast forward and back function or go to function so that I could fast forward a movie or a music. any suggestions for this?

Yes you can view movies BUT the movies files must be converted to a format that can be played on your media player.
You need earphones to listen to music and movies.

Have you tried rightclicking on the player for options.
I use VLC player, the FF REW buttons are visible , you can also take snapshots from the video playing.

Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

Go to "Music" menu, then press the right arrow/fast-forward to get to "Music Options" menu.

Press the right arrow/fast-forward to get to "Shuffle". Press the center button to turn it OFF, then press Back Arrow several times to return to "Music" Menu.

I have no Problem with mine. Just read the manual and play around with it. Mine fast forward and rewind @ 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, and 32x time the speed. I have no problem putting in folders in the record folder with the manufactured software it cam with. I even can hold up to 12 movies on it. The Micro sd slot holds up to 8 gb making this mp4 player a 16 gb player. All I can say play around with it more. A problem is the touch screen can be too sensitive but that is a miner problem for me. I just softly touch the screen. It can pause and stop. Hold three second to make it stop. tap fast forward to go to the next videos or movie in folder. If hold for three second the fast forward or the rewind you get the time speeds each time you hold for three second. To me it is a Good Mp4 and Mp3 player for the price I paid. With the micro sd in it making it 16 gb, I can hold 12 movies, 8,000 songs, 700 pictures, and have 9 text in the ebook: This is what I have on Mine. Just learn more by playing around more with it.

No button or any control to rectifier this problem. Depend the movies quality when you fast forward the system control and audio video processing or it call out MPEG2 chipset they run like double speed sometimes it not fast enough then you end up with sound and video not SYNC however you can fix that by remove AC lead for 30sec then plug in back now it should work OK or when you fast forward use X8 or X16 NOT X32 times specialy with DVD copy
Alternatifly if your DVD player still under warranty it might have a update firmware to correct this problem

I have an e260. I use it for audiobooks a lot. I just press pause (centre top of the dial), and the track will resume from there next time (unless I go back to the main menu for radio of course.)

Movie
Press rewind button or fast forward button in main menu to select Movie function and press play button to enter Movie play.

(1) This player supports the playing of movie files in SMV format. Convert the desiredmovie（MPG，AVI，WMV format） to SMV format with transcoder software（video2smv.exe）in the attached CD (if any) or save in the player or downloaded from Internet.

(2) Movie should be put in MVIDEO folder of the player. If there is not such folder,please create one. Please note that the player cannot find those movie files if theyare not put in MVIDEO folder of the player.

When you turn on your mp3 and there's the list like music, movies, ebook... etc... choose the Record and when you get to rec. push the options button (OPT top right had corner) then start record, then when you're done push pause/play and then turn off the mp3 and then go back to the record mic again and push play to listen to it.
