The HDP5000 printer does not come with badge design and printing software unless ordered in a configuration that includes it. (sort of like buying an HP Laser printer for your PC - it wouldn't come with Microsoft Word unless you purchased that too.)

There are several very good programs available that are fully compatible with the HDP5000 - both from its manufacturer HID Global, and from a number of independent software authoring companies. Pricing ranges from under $100, to over $2,000 depending on features, networking ability, multi-user requirements, external database link support, and more.

This error usual occurs after a large print job (50 prints in a row). Try shutting off the printer, and leaving it off for a good 15 minutes. Turn back on and retry.

If the problem persists, then you should contact a service center. It seems to have a failure in an internal sensor.

Open the left hand top cover, In between the ribbon rollers you will see a small flipper, ( small piece of metal with a wheel stuck on one end. ) Maually turn this so the grey wheel is on top and white smaller wheel on the bottom.

This ocassional gets jammed and need righting manually.

on the printer property dialog select image color tab then advanced settings, for darker images increase sharpness and contrast and decrease gamma to you satisfaction

Pls do the following:-

Ribbon Break/Jam
(PC Error Message No. 99, 108 and 109)

The Ribbon is not able to find the next panel correctly. Check for jams/breaks.

If jammed, clear the jam. If broken, repair by taping the Ribbon back on to the take-up core.
Press Resume to continue or Cancel to abort.

If you replaced the o-ring on the headlift assembly and that did not solve the problem, most likely you may have a sensor out that controls the position of the head lift.
