Power Consumption could be higher if you play it loud (like watching Music Videos). About 250 watts.

What's better lcd or plasma TV?

Plasma TV's has a really rich, warm colors and deep blacks. It provides you with comfortable viewing angles that allow you to seat almost everywhere around the TV.

LCD TV'S are preferred in sizes less than 42 inches, and for users with lots of daylight viewing. If you're looking for ways to save energy. LCD TVs often consume less power than plasma models of the same size.

Hi our hyundai pd421 has power but no picture any ideas please.

First make sure its not the connection from any video devices. And if the connection is fine and there is still no picture the plasma has burnt out in the TV.
You will have to have it repaired or consult your warranty to see if there is anyway to get the TV fixed.
