When our side-by-side fridge was delivered the person removed the door and since then all our internal lights don't work (control panel on the front does). I replaced the bulbs but nothing. I know the repair company should fix it but that is a long story.
Hi i would look at the hinge area where door was removed, theres electrcal plug there and if he,s not connected it properly then lights dont work..

try this trick
instead of trying to get the fridge through full on or sideways
put the fridge side on to the door way then open the fridge doors first
that reduces the fridge width by the thickness of the doors and the body of the fridge can be maneuvered through the door way and turned slightly at the last bit to allow the door and hinges to get past the door jamb
You can take the doors off but you have to be sure that on reassembly the doors are sealing properly and adjusted correctly
Solved beeping problem.........Samsung SRS539HW . Have one of these and it is 6 years old. I had to replace the bottom hinge on the fridge side(right). Easy job but now constant beeping as if door is open, and light is intermittent. Found that there is considerable wear on the cable through top hinge of door and one of the wires from a magnetic reed switch in door had broken. I discovered this by shorting the two fine wires (white and pink/white) going to internals of fridge. No more beeping due to door opening and light now working correctly. Of course I no longer get a beep for a valid door open to long but cheaper than getting a refridgerator expert in.
A lot of refrigerators now use the control board to time how long the lights are on. If the door is open for an extended period, the control will turn the lights off to pervent them from overheating. I suspect you have discovered by now that the lights are working again.
Thanks so much for the advice. I just gently pried the door sensor switch on my Samsung RB1855SL out with a butter knife and then pulled out the electrical connection and it fired up right away. It looks like some orange juice seeped in and corroded it. What a relief to have the fridge working again, not to mention to not have to listen to the beeping.
your refrig has a bad electronic control heres the part #W10135090 the noise your hearing is an internal relay on the board buzzing trying to turn the lights on. i found the part at sears.com and it was ony about 80 bucks it is a plug and play part so you should be able to replace it yourself. the board is located in the white box next to the compressor in the back of your refrig. thanks peyton
