My phone was working perfectly fine until a blank white screen came on, it would then the phone would turn off and back on. the phone has never been left outside, dropped, or been wet.
My phone was working fine, then all of a sudden the entire screen turned white. The buttons on the front still glow though, and I've only had the phone for a week. No damage at all

If your phone is less then a year old bring it to a store that is owned by Verizon. You could also call 1-800-256-4646, then ask for the FRU (Factory Replacement Unit) department. They will get you a replacement phone.

if you activity lights on, try connecting to an external monitor or modern flat screen tv. if the screen is flashing then it is probably a screen issue. eg the invertor r screen has failed.
Ok, my phone had the same problem. I took the face plate off and the screen out and there's actually a little connector that connects to a board behind the screen(can come unplugged for replacement). I fiddled around a little with it and it worked fine. about a week or 2 later it happened again. I tried fixing it again and it would just flash white>black>lines>white, repeat. I know my phone's taken a bit of abuse, dropped down a road, soaked in rain, but it always worked after. These phone screens aren't meant to take abuse. Problem; the phone screen died. Solution; get a new screen.
White Screen Of Death. Quite common on Sony Ericsson phones. My K800i does it every time its battery shuts off while it's on (so I try to make sure it doesn't).
You need to (google terms)
reflash sony ericsson phone
Maybe also first
backup GDFS
The photos, except those on the memory card, and other stuff will be lost, I'm afraid.
But good news is that your contact list can likely be saved by backing up the GDFS.

My screen goes blank from time to time and when I turn it off and turn it back on again, it seems to re-boot itself and is fine. However, I have never had this problem with any other phone and fear my phone may be dying. It is only 1 year old and worked fine for the first 8 months I had it. But the blank screen seems to happen more frequently lately. I don't think I will buy and LG again.
i need a real solution.
and i get some spanish ad.
