Thats pretty easy to fix. Remove the glass. You lift the document feeder out and remove the 2 screws from the front and back of the glass.
Once the glass is removed, Take some rubbing alcohol, or good cleaner. Formula 409 , fantastic etc, dampen a cloth towell and clean the stainless steel shaft on the rear of the scanner that the lamp rides from left to right on.
I bet if you try and move the scann lamp carriage it is very hard to move.
Clean it a couple of times. Get e very light weight oil and put a light ammount on that shaft. Run the carriage back and forth a few times, clean and relubricate the shaft and you should resolve the problem.
Very common. I would say there is a 99 percent likelyhood that this will fix your problem.
In the Jaguar series, (ar-168d) you will need to get into the simulations; press in rapid succession: # * C * You will know when you did it fast enough when all the display lights go out except the number display, press 41 start/copy. then 6 start/copy. Let the copier do what it needs to.
The scanner will move, keep the lid down, it will let you know when it is done when it goes silent. Then press CA key to clear out and try copies again.
SPF is normal document feder RSPF is autoreverse document feder. Select the your document feder instaling the copiers, remove any originals to the glass.
The "Check SPF/RSPF" issue can be a couple of things
If the scanner only moves from right to left then immediately moves back then the copier needs to be adjusted.
If the scanner moves from right to left and tries to feed then displays message then the ADF needs to be cleaned.
Same for the dark issues
If you lighten the exposure and the copies come out better then copier needs to be adjusted
If you lighten the exposure and the copies come out the same then you may have a few problems check the following;
Open right side door and look at drum green/blue cylinder . If it is covered with toner (black film) then you might have a drum short.
Open right side door and look at drum, if it is not covered then you may have a board issue.
While making a copy off the glass listen to the right side of the copier and if you can hear a screeching sound then you could be having an electrical short that is causing your black copies.
Depending on your findings depends on the remedies.

I just fixed this problem on my sharp all in one. The white rollers on the underside of the copier cover were not rolling well. I took an alcohol prep pad and started cleaning them, rolling as I went. A large piece of lint fell out. I put the documents in the document feeder and they fed through like a charm. Hope this helps.
I had the problem. The feeder didn't work but everything else was okay and the error code sounds familiar. The problem was cleared and fixed with the following codes entered from the panel
