The same thing happens to me. I try to start it up, but unfortunately when I tried, only the three green lights in the left hand corner blink. The screen turns black again, and nothing happens. I'm guessing it's the battery, but I just have no idea. What should I do?

I'm having the same problem. Its making me very frustrated because i have been very pleased with this camera. But now I go to turn it on and the 3 green lights are just blinking at me. I have made sure the battery is charged and now i am not sure what else to try.

I have the exact same problem and cannot find anything on the web to fix it - I hate to send it in to Kodak and pay $150 for them to fix it if that's even possible but it was a $300 camera! Help!!!

Your LCD screen may not be working. Mine did that also, and the lens did not come out until I hit "Down" then "OK". This is when the date and time screen come up (that you can not see if the screen is off). Strangely my screen works fine when I plug it into the charger. Anyone know why this must be? I have tried 3 different batteries fully charged in my mom's same V603.

Kodak V603 won't come on

Don't trash it yet! :)

Does it turn on with AC? If so, there could be a problem with the battery terminal.. or the battery itself (even though it is new, it may be bad).

Even if the camera is broken, Kodak has some inexpensive repair options as well as trade in options. Before trashing, give them a call to discuss..

Camera V603

the camera should be brought to a repair shop since it might be a mechanical problem or parts may need to be replaced already.

Cannot Start Up

Go to Kodak Technical Support- There may be an issue here that they will deal with free of charge.

LCD Screen broke

hello, LCD replacement is compulsary, for that i suggest only kodak shop, because LCD costs same anywhere in the world, onle service charge differs and that is i think not so much. so go to kodak only..
