My partener has dropped her new mobile and the screen is cracked preventing any visibility what so ever on the display, causing difficulties on all levels and preventing the use of all functions when using the phone. It accepts calls and if dialing a number it will connect thus so far, but you can't see what buttons you are pressing.. could you please advise me where I can get it repaired, how, and how much I am to expect to pay for this repair, or whether because I have just upgraded my plan and recieved these two phones (account is in my name) I am able to be covered under a warrantee of any kind.
thankyou for your help,
extremely worried

You would just have to replace your screen, this not very expensive and will do the job.
The warranty will probely not cover this because it is not the fault of the proper functioning of the devise.
You can either get it fixed by your service provider with you paying for this or you can go to your local repair service the price for both should range in similar cost .Be care full because if you fix it not by the service provider you might loose the warranty. This depends on the contract policy.

Typically this happens because the phone is dropped onto a hard surface on the edge or it falls display down not a surface that has a pebble or some other small surface that is sharp.
Other people place in a pocket causing stress to the screen. While damage may not be visible small invisible cracks can become big ones under repeated torsion.
chech if the contact to the display has been cut. This you can confirm by noticing whether the display atleast lights up any way. if it does not there may be a disconnection between power supply to your display. Also check of cracks on the screen. if there are cracks you may have to change the screen. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
With this certain type of scenario, PC was accidentally dropped, the screen is the most common affected part of computer. This is because LCDs are fragile. Although you may not see any visible crack from it's outside appearance there's a possibility that there's a crack within causing the screen not to display anything. I will highly recommend for you to contact your PC's manufacturer, they offer services for machines that are under warranty. Another option is for you to consult local technician.
your display of your phone gets damaged . kindly change the display of your screen . this the only way to fix this problem. change your display screen of your mobile..
You don't have to drop your phone to crack / break the screen. This problem is almost certainly caused by a crack screen. This can be easily repaired by taking your phone to the local repair shop and getting the LCD replaced.
Depending on where you live and who you know you can get this done for $50 - $100 in North America.
Dropping it may have dislodged one of the internal components. I would bring it to the Verizon store and see if they can fix it or give you a new phone.
