After a storm went through, my Kitchenaid KGRT607 touch pad display looks different. The temp probe icon is on and some of the buttons will not work. All of the buttons must be touched many times before they will work. The Bake Convection button works but the Bake button will not.
Any ideas, or should I just call a repairman?
Thanks,
Rick

F2-E0 - Shorted Touch Pad (Keypad) - Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure. Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds. If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

The Child Lock shuts down the control panel pads to prevent unintended use of the microwave oven. When the control is locked, only the Vent Fan and Light pads will function. To Lock/Unlock Control: The microwave oven and Timer must be off. Touch and hold START for 5 seconds until 2 tones sound and a lock icon appears on the display. Repeat to unlock and remove the lock icon from display.
We have a gas kitchenaid KGST307HBL9 and the touch pad is blank, but we discovered that you can still touch the buttons and it will work. (example touch bake; temperature; start). It will beep when the target temperature is reached. Just so we don't forget and leave the oven on, we turn the oven light on as our signal. A little work, but not wanting to "fork" out the money at this time to repair. Also, if you are handy RepairClinic.com has many items and can also answer question. We've used them for several of our appliance repairs.
F3 is Open oven temperature sensor
circuit. F4 Shorted oven temperature sensor
circuit . F7 Component failure.
To fix this you need to read oven temperature sensor
circuit at oven temperature sensor ( approx 1000
ohms at room temp); check for cut or pinched wire or loss
of contact, if wirings are ok, then replace the probe.

It appears your timer/clock has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing. I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information. RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell. In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Try unplugging the oven from the electrical power. May release the lock, which is held in place by a tiny micro switch. If not and while the electric is still off or the oven is unplugged, use a bright light flashlight to look through the slot where the lock is in the oven, not in the door.
You may be able to use a thin blade screwdriver to move the lock to the release position. Check the angle of the lever. A slightly bent lever handle also can cause this type of condition.
If all else fails, remove the access panel on the front of the oven to access the locking device and release it. May have to disconnect the wires to the lock which will allow door to function but not during any self cleaning modes.
