I took my machine with me on an airplane and now when i try to sew wit it it makes one stitch and then all the lights start flashing and it stops. I have made sure that my threads match and that everything is threaded right, as well as the BH Button being up. It is driving me nuts because I can sew with it by turning the handle, but it wont itself past one stitch.I took my machine with me on an airplane and now when i try to sew wit it it makes one stitch and then all the lights start flashing and it stops. I had a similar problem and called 1 800 4Singer. The BH lever(next to the needle) had fallen. I pushed it up and everything worked fine again. It seems if it's down the least, the machine won't work. Hope this helps.

Why do I keep getting a C3 error (accompanied by lots of beeps) when I turn on my machine? The C3 error as well as the beeping when you turn on your machine indicates the foot control plug is not fully pushed into the sewing machine. Turn off your sewing machine and push the foot contol plug into the machine fully. Turn your sewing machine back on.
Same machine and model and same problem. It’s really irritating. It’s not the bobbin as the screen flashes worth the foot pedal. I’ll look at the tension but given how often it beeps and on so many different projects with different thread and tension it seems to be a fault of some kind... searching for a fix...
Sounds like it is getting too hot if it is OK after unplugging. Is something stuck in your foot pedal? Give it a clean and hoover as dust and threads can get stuck there. Good luck
try rethreading the machine top & bobbin clean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for lint or thread make sure bobbin is inserted correctly & that it's not damaged try changing the needle
That light means you need to lower the presser foot. It cannot sew until the foot is lowered. The lever to lower the foot is behind the needle area on the back.
after i looked over the machines thred routing i found a pice of thred jamed in under the top clear plastic panel i took thihs panel off and removed the thred ,cleaned in there put it back togather and it now works fine just what i found hope it works for others
