When drying close, the dryer begins to beep constantly with a high-low, high-low beeping sound. The child lock is engaged during the drying as well. It works fine, but I am worried that there is an underlying issue. Not sure why this is happening or if there is a manual that explains what the beep sequences mean.
Most likely you have an excess of lint hampering air flow from the dryer. Vacuum out lint filter area, gently remove aluminum exhaust duct behind dryer and make sure it is clear and debris free. Also check exhaust duct port on back of dryer and that the vent going out of your house is clean and not stuck closed or clogged.

I had the same problem...called LG and they said just reset the dryer by unplugging the dryer....I couldn't reach the plug so they told me to trip the breaker switch and that would also reset it....problem solved
SOURCE: Dryer doesnt do anything besides a loud noise
What kind of loud noise?? A loud electrical noise?? A loud squealing noise??
It's possible that there is a foreign matter inside the filter chamber jamming up the blower fan. Pull the filter screen out and look down the filter chamber area and see if there is a sock jamming the fan from turning. If you can pull it out, that should resolve your problem. If not, you may need to call a qualified LG technician to resolve this issue.

There is a little sensor that tells the dryer when to heat and when not to heat. that sensor is bad. If you take the back of the dryer off you will see it. It is about the size of a half dollar and has 2 wires that plug into it. While you have it apart make sure that the dryer vent on the back of the dryer is not plugged with lint. Major cause for fires in dryers.

To unlock, press and hold DRY LEVEL for 3 seconds. The indicator light turns "off".
