AHHH My SanDisk sansa e200 froze and restoreing it or taking out the battery doesnt work. I've also tried to download the firmware carp. Nothing works..Please Help Me [<3]

I have the same issue...after two weeks of Sansa's different remedies, all they said was that they would have to replace it.

I guess that i accidentaly erased a important file or folder. it dosent work any more. windows 7 finds it, but show nothing inside. only free memory.

SanDisk Sansa m200 series and my macbook pro

It is complicate,

it works on Mac OS only if you downgrade firmware for sandisk.
Here is how to do it.

If system crashes while you install the firmware you will damage the sansa, Mac OX is solid , but be careful with the USB cable.

You can try to reset the device by pressing the power button for about 15 to 20 seconds..if that doesnt work I would recommend you to go to the sandisk site to update the firmware on your device or you can contact sandisk to they can help you with updating the firmware on your device..Please follow the link below to get the firmware

Sansa e200 is not recognized by by computer

**** this sansa e260 the piece of **** froze on me twice and both times i took it back to circuit city and just got a new one. one suggestion when you do get this is keep the repeipt for it

Help i can't open my sansa E200

Go to the place where you bought your Sansa E200 and ask them to have the firmware reinstalled. Most mp3/mp4 players crashes its firmware when you are working on something and the battery goes down. There is nothing wrong with your gadget's harware, just a software issue.. that's all.
