Here is the link for the user manual for the US version (which may be similar); http://citizen-systems.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/citizen_systems.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=88&p_created=1023311710&p_sid=Lhme65Fi&p_accessibility=0&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPSZwX3NvcnRfYnk9JnBfZ3JpZHNvcnQ9JnBfcm93X2NudD0zNjcmcF9wcm9kcz0mcF9jYXRzPSZwX3B2PSZwX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX25sJnBfcGFnZT0x&p_li=&p_topview=1 The link for the UK version manual is currently undergoing site maintenance - may be back on in a day or so, maybe longer; http://www.citizen.co.uk/support/minipos_manuals.htm Hope this helps - please ask again if you don't find what you need in there :)

I did make sure if the citizen cbm 1000 printer was able to be used to the pos software i use and is however that was for a serial connection the usb connection I have wont work I have contacted the...

My friend, converting X to Y never creates a X. You need the proper driver for your printer. If the manufacturer hasn't created a driver and your OS manufacturer doesn't support the printer, the last practical option is to find a 3rd party driver which you will probably have to pay for.

You can try this link ... though I suspect you have already ... http://www.citizen-systems.co.jp/english/support/download/printer/driver/windows/drvdown-e.htm

Slow Printing

is it serial or parallel?
If it's serial, You can change the com port settings (baud rate) to a higher speed. You would need to change the dips on the printer to read the same Baud rate.
