Contacts I've just added all my contacts to my phone and now I can't view them. Everytime I click on "Contacts" it doesn't go anywhere. It stays on "Contacts". Pls help asap.

Ttry this turn off and turn on mobile and press the down arrow key and it will ask for copy contacts to sim press k and u can see that rate me solved if its helped

The issue you have is that the contacts are either stored on your phone memory or your sim memory. You can browse these contacts by going into contacts and then to sim directory, copy them all to the phone and you will have them displayed. Leave the backup on the sim for future reference.

Dont pay go on nokia.com and download the latest firmware for your model they have had lots of probs with all n series

I want to copy contacts from sim mto phone memmory
go to menu and click on contacts then on that press options then click on settings. now on that see there is a option like view contacts on . now select it as sim. then press ok . now exit and again go to contacts.Now the contacts on your sim card will be displayed now go to options on the contacs and click on the option " Copy to phone" On that option click multiple then when it ask to select the contacs click on the first option which is select all then now press ok .Now your contacts will be copied to your phone. now change the contacts view in to phone.


simple guide:


1)Menu->contacts-> contact settings-> view contacts on-> Sim card-> ok->exit
2)menu->contacs-> Copy to phone->multiple->select All-> ok.
3)Menu->contacts-> contact settings-> view contacts on-> Phone-> ok->exit

How to assign a different ring tone for specific contacts on Nokia 5230
Groups can contain any number of contacts, and even just a single member, so you could, for instance, have one ringtone for family members, one for work colleagues and one for your partner.
To create a group, assign a ringtone and image and then select a group's members, follow these instructions:
  • From the main menu, highlight Contacts and click Select.
  • Highlight Groups and click Select.
  • Click Add (or if you have already added groups, click Options, highlight Add new group and click Select).
  • Enter a name for the group and click OK.
  • Highlight the group's name in the list and click Options.
  • Highlight Group details and click Select.
  • Highlight Group ringing tone and click Select
  • Highlight Open Gallery, click Select, locate the ringtone in your gallery and click Select to apply.
  • Highlight Group image and click Select.
  • Click Add, highlight From Gallery, click Select, locate the image in your gallery and click Select.
  • Now highlight Group members and click Select. Click Add and your contacts list will open. Highlight the contacts you want to add to the group and click Select. You can add as many contacts as you like to each group.
If you want to add contacts to an existing group, highlight the group's name on the Groups screen, click View and click Add to display your contacts list. Highlight a contact and click Select to add them.

I am unable to view contacts as I never recalled seeing any prompts, how do I view sim contacts? I have selected options prior to opening contacts but if I select MEMORY DETAILS and memory card it shows...
Hi, every nokia phones have similar menus on the them.

First to get menu there is a menu botton on one of the phone keys. click on it and it will display icons of other items on the phone.on that page there is suppose to be that has contact icon that you can get access to click on it you will see where they wrote names click to enter that is where your contact are.

T-mobile wing 'contacts' page problem
The best way is to do a hard reset and start over again. Remember to back up all your data before doing it. I receommend you copy all contact into your SIM and move all of them over the phone contact then it will be ok. Let me know if you still have trouble.
