The screen on my acer laptop has turned upside down.. How can i turn the screen around?

I know how inconvenient working on your laptop the image in it is upside down. But don't worry I will help you with this concern.

I have a video tutorial that will walk you through on how to correct it or fix it.

Just click the link VideoTutorial so that you will directed on the video tutorial page. Once you get there, please wait to load the video completely, it takes quite while.
But if you want a written walk through, not a problem I will provide that.

Laptops are very customizable. There is a very handy technique that has been a feature on laptops for many years but is still not widely known. It comes in handy for a lot of reasons. For anyone who wants to relax and watch a movie on their laptop or read an ebook, the ability to rotate their laptop's screen from vertical to horizontal makes these activities so much easier. This explanation applies to Windows Vista and Windows 7.

1. Hold down the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys and press the "Left Arrow" key. This will rotate your laptop screen view. Return to the standard screen orientation by holding down the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys together and pressing the "Up Arrow" key. If you were unable to rotate your screen with "Ctrl + Alt + Left," go to step 2.

2. Right-click on the laptop's desktop and select "Personalize."

3. Find the "See Also" menu on the left side of the screen and click "Display."

4. Click on "Change Display Settings" and choose "Orientation" from the drop-down menu.

5. Choose from "Landscape," "Portrait," "Landscape (Flipped)," and "Portrait (Flipped)" from the box that appears. "Landscape" is the standard view. "Portrait" changes the view to sideways, leaning to the left. "Landscape (Flipped)" shows a sideways view leaning to the right. "Portrait (Flipped)" turns the screen upside down.

6.Click "Apply" and then click "OK." Your screen orientation is set to whatever version you like.

Proceed to play jokes on your friends by flipping their computer screens when they are not looking, then tell them "That's not good, dude."

I hope you find it very helpful. Thank you for using fixya.

I have an e528 emachine and my screen is in landscape view instead of portrait view, how doi change it back? Now everything is sideways instead of up and down.

Hi and welcome to fixya!

To change the view of your screen, just simply press alt + ctrl + the arrow keys. It will "turn" your screen. Just stop when you finally have the view that you want.

This will certainly help.

The creen on my laptop is rotated sideways how do I fix it everything on my screen is sideways and i need it to be up and down so i can read my screen right side up on my laptop computer

Based on your brief description, I think your problem is correctable in the control panel under monitor settings. Depending on your operating system (XP, Vista, Windows 7) you will need to find the monitor settings and look for the advanced section for the Nvidia Video Card. In there you should find a setting to flip the monitor view between Portrait and Landscape. The settings may be named differently, but there will likely be a graphic representation to show you the different settings available.

I cant get corect skin colour tone in auto white balance.i got some photographs and i see exif data of that photos in photoshop.at the exposure mode it showing manual exposure but at the scene cature type...

You can't. The Portrait mode, like all the other point&shoot modes, are automatic. The camera controls most functions, like exposure metering, auto-focus mode, and white-balance. If you want control over the camera, you'll have to use one of the PSAM modes.

Hello, You need an application called HP MyDisplay, you can download this at the link below, this app will register in which way the monitor is (landscape or Portrait) and when you pivot (rotate) the screen it will rotate the screen as well.

Multi-Swing

By rotating the display, users can use it to view their subject when taking low-angle, high-angle, and a wide range of other shots. When closed, the multi-swing display also ensures carefree portability by protecting both the lens and the LCD screen. The IR-500 is the first Olympus camera to feature a multi-swing display with 360° rotation capability. It is especially useful in Self Portrait Shooting. The multi-swing display's 360° rotation capability makes it easy to shoot self-portraits as well as other people and scenery. Users can view themselves on the LCD screen while shooting, and use the camera's Self Portrait mode to ensure optimum exposures.
