Getting fuel too? spark?
if yes to all these than it is the ignition control module, This is located on the distributer and mounted with 2 hex head screws that are counter sunk. You will need to use a deep dish socket to remove these. You may need to mark the orientation of the distributor (scratch awl) and loosen distributor. Pull straight down to unplug from cap. Use dielectric grease on back of module. Reattach. If your module is blue or grey you can use a grey mod to replace. you cannot use a blue module to replace a grey module. this will cost 29.00 or less at any auto part store And a set of 1/4 drive deep sockets too7/32? im not sure But I caan check if you have triouble determining. That SHOULD be the problem common problem

1985 ford f150 300 6 cylinder with electronic ignition has spark to all 6 and fuel but won't start. All fuses are good and firing order is correct.

Get a testing light and connect it to the injector wires. You can have fuel pressure, but if the injectors do not open, it will not get fuel.

Test with starting fluid to see if fuel is the problem. If you have spark and no response after adding the starting fluid, its something else. Since the timing chain has nothing to do with the crankshaft sensor sending a signal as the crankshaft turns, the top half of the engine may not be turning to move the valves. Look in any breather holes in the valve cover to see if the tappets are moving.

On my 1992 Ford F150,Seems that my fuel line is bleeding back at night. I have to prime the intake, then it runs fine. Is there a check valve somewhere that could have gone bad?

Check the fuel pressure regulator by pulling the vacuum hose off and look for fuel if any fuel drips out tor you see any raw fuel then the regulator is faulty. If the regulator checks out to be good then check your fuel pressure it should be 45-60 psi if its the 4.9 c.i. 6 cylinder motor and if its the 5.0 or the 5.8 V-8 motor then it should be 35-45 psi with the ignition on and engine off.

I have a 92 F150 supercab and it wont start...I had someone jump

I would check for spark at the plug wires, and check for fuel, there should be a pressure test port on the fuel injection rail to connect a fuel pressure gauge.

My 1996 ford f150 with the in-line 6 cylinder was just rebuilt from the head up and all new injecters were installed. sometimes after driving for a while and after turning the engine off the vehicle will...

get a fuel presure gadge and check the presure after setting hook up the gadge starty it up let it set see if the presure drops to 0 if so and you have no fuel leaks and you know that none of the injectors are leaking then it might be the fuel pressure regolator or the fuel pump the psi should be around 35 40 psi i think
