I need to disable the BT Headset ringing

Hi,
like the topic says i need to disable my total annoying buildin ringtone on my Jabra BT 2020 Headset. My Phone is a HTC Touch Cruise.

I tryed to change the Ringtone but it isn't possible, so if found a way to stream the Phone's ringtone to my HS. But the Problem is that when someone calls the Headset still plays its own ringtone and is blocking all audio from my Phone.

Is it possible to change the Phone setting so it never notifies the HS it should ring? ^^
That would be perfect.

I hope someone knows a way how to do that.

p.s. sorry if my english isnt clear

SOURCE: Incoming caller ring

Here is the link to the user manual if you need it. http://www.motorola.com/Hellomoto/Master%20Lists/Product%20Manuals/Static%20Files/CA-EN/30277_E815EnglishUserGuide.pdf Unfortunately what callers hear is dependent on the phone they are calling from, not on your phone. You could concievably send them a mutimedia message when they call, but there is no way to automate this, and it would probably be too much trouble and expense to bother. Wait a year or two, and it may well be that manufacturers start including this feature - it would require a slight modification of the communications protocols on the cell networks, but it probably would be popular. Good idea. Hope this helps :)

SOURCE: problem with the number of rings

Remove the voicemail or extend ring time
don.t know is this code works world wide but you can try otherwise ask the provider to lengthen the ring time to 30 secs
**
then enter country code IE 61 for australia
* then vmail number IE 321 for optus
**30#
so your code should look something like this
**61*321**30#
then hit call.
remember the 61 and the 321 will vary on country and provider

Jabra BT620s pairs to laptop but unable to switch sound output.

I had this same problem with my sony vaio (vista). But at first for me, after BT enabled the device, I couldnt find it in the device manager. I cycled on and off the headset a couple of times and once my vaio began to automatically connect the device, I was able to locate it in the device manager. Next, I went through the contol panel, hardware/sound, "manage audio devices". Here the bluetooth headset was located. After sucessfully testing the headset, I set it to default. Now whenever I fire up the headset, I have total mobile sound...awesome
