I can't seem to transfer photos from the computer back to my camera (so I can then print from my memory card). When I try to do it, it appears that I have put in into a camera folder (DCIM), but it doesn't actually transfer to my memory card (in the camera). I'm sure I have done it once before, but it's not working now.
Help.

You need to make sure that you have the software Casio put out called "Photo Transport". You can download that from their website then all you have to do is drag and drop you files into the camera. This software allows the reverse communication needed to transport back onto your camera.

You have two options. If you normally transfer your photos by connecting your camera to your computer, remove the memory card before making the connection. This will allow the computer to see the photos in the camera's internal memory.
If you normally transfer your photos by putting the memory card into a card reader, use the Backup command in the Settings-1 menu to transfer the photos from the camera's internal memory to the memory card, then transfer the photos from the card to the computer as normal. ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

Slide the switch from the LOCK position to the UNLOCK position, which is furthest away from the contacts. The photo processing shop most likely will have trouble downloading the photos from your camera/memory card. I suggest you purchase an USB memory stick and copy the photos to this USB memory stick and then take the USB memory stick to the photo processing shop.
The best way to transfer pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa. Organize edit and share your photos
If so then i suggest you purchase a card reader,
take the card out of the camera and put it into the the card reader,
plug that directly into your PC and transfer the photo's to your PC.
If
you don't have them on a memory card
but on the camera's internal memory, put in a memory card and transfer
the photo's to that using the camera's menu. Then you can use the card
reader to get your photo's on your PC.
Card readers are fairly
inexpensive and can cost anything from $2 - $40 (£1 - £25-30) Please
post back if you require anymore help or advice. Regards.
Many cameras will not let you write to the card. Try using a card reader, which will make the memory card appear to the computer as a separate hard drive.
