Question about Compaq Inkjet IJ650 Printer
I do not know how it happens, but the print cartridges are not synchronized, when I send something as simple as a rectangle filled in whatever color with an outer line in black the printer shifts down the black line forming two rectangles, one in color and one without fill, one shfted from the other one for about 2 mm. It seems as if the printer deceide to delay to print the black stuff delayed from the colored stuff. Any idea to fix this problem ?, I already reinstalled the software, that I got from the compaq website, aligned the heads, etc, nothing has been enough to resolve the issue. The test sheet of the printer shows one strange caracter at the begining of each line.
Try changing the printer cable. Also have you cycled the printer on and off? Are yo using genuine manufacturer cartridges? The possibility is the paper feed rollers may need to be cleaned. Some are accessable and some are not. If you can see them try cleaning them with a rag and some rubbing alcohol.
