Wireless keyborad just installed wireless keyborad and it dont work the mouse does but the keyboard dont

You dont need your laptops wireless connection to connect wireless keyborad.
You have find a small usb device with youriwreless keyboard. Connect it in your laptop and then you can turn on your keyboard it will automatically done.

some mainboards don't support wireless and usb devices during operating system instalation.
try the the old p2p keyboard

Sounds like your USB circuit may have gotten fried due to a static discharge (assuming your keyboard and mouse are USB). You can purchase an "add-on" USB pci card or a PS2 Mouse and Keyboard.

if they are USB or PS/2 Just turn off your computer unplug the old keyboard and mouse and plug the new ones in. It may take windows a minute or two to recognize the new keyboard and mouse.

Try to re-connect the mouse and keyboard using the connect buttons on the keyboard/mouse and the receiver to the computer.

when you purchase the new mointer but frequency is more then high to the old wireless keyboard and mouse. so didn't connect the your computer.
some changing the motherboard in Installation to Ram & Micro chip. and use the digital mouse.

press button on all three devices. the light blinks on kbd and mouse. then go ahead and do the add device. It should do.

do you have an Infra Red device that is installed on your main PC. Because most laptops have infra Red devices and as well with bluetooth connectivity to function your wireless keyboard and mouse.. Go to my computer icon, right click on it then left click properties then go to device manager then check for additional devices.

If u installed anything incorrecly then the computer will prevent the mouse and keyboard from working, try plughin in a diffent one and see if it works, if not, ur keyborad and mouse might have fried

You need to restore to a previous date before you installed the wireless mouse / keyboard.

If that dont work then your only solution is to format and reinstall since it might be you could have damaged a few vxd files window's needs to use those devices

shut down compuer

2.) plug mouse into green ps2 port and keyboard into the blue one
