Saw stops at predetermined stops but wont lock anywhere else

Be sure that the miter lock knob is loose. Follow the instructions that were provided

The bevel lock knob securely locks your compound miter saw at desired bevel angles.

BEVEL STOP PIN
The bevel stop pin has three positions:
1. Override (pin pulled completely out)
2. The 0 - 45 position (middle position)
3. The 0 - 48position for crown molding (pin pushed in)

Blade should be secured to motor. Make sure bolt is tightened while holding blade with a pair of channel lock.

There is a lever or push button by the hinge (where the saw pivots).Just push down on the top of the saw and release latch.To lock back down , just push down on the saw and put lever back in the lock position.

There is an adjustment under the table top. It usually is a bolt with a lock nut that allows you to adjust the table to a predetermined angle every time. You can adjust the amount that the table will go by unlocking the lock nut and then turning the bolt the correct direction allowing the table to come to a full 90 degrees. Once you have the table a 90 degrees lock the bolt down with the lock nut. This will aloow you to change the tilt of the table to something other than 90 degrees and then come back to the 90 degrees by turning the adjusting wheel until it bottoms out against the locked doen adjusting bolt.

Hello stella....... There is a locking mechanism on the miter saw to lock it on whatever setting you require. loosen that locking mechanism and the saw should move for you. Here is a schematic of the parts so you can see exactly which parts are involved

remember most circular saws are a reverse thread. First step is to make sure the saw is unplugged. If your saw does not have an arbor lock than stick a medium sized screwdriver in one of the teeth of the blade near the base of the saw, this will lock the blade in place so you can tighten the blade.

Have you check your brake pads, cable (brake system) are they in neutral. If not hen you drum pads are locked onto your drum. Check it first.

hmm so easily she LOCKED ur phone??? and U need to UNLOCK IT ?? this is done in case where u put a sim card and put on password By ur own self, when some body steals it and they try to use theirs it wont let them start phone without password. so IF YOU put the password YOU should know it! or ask some one who used ur phone earlier, and beware with samsung, if its NOT ur phone and u unlock it any ways( electronically) it send a message to predetermined phone about ur IMEI and sim reg no.

older model of circular saw dont have a spindle lock.wedge the blade on a bench vise & make sure ur not clamping the teeth of the blade & then turn the blade screw clock wise.
