Why is my digital signal not working on my harmon pardon 3490 receiver? it always returns to the analog signal

You can set it manually. Here is how:
"To select whether the source will use its analog audio input or one of the digital audio inputs, press and hold the front-panel Source Selector and simultaneously tap the front-panel T-Mon Button repeatedly until the desired input appears in the Message Display. Audio input selection requires use of the front-panel controls and cannot be selected using the remote control."

Connected Auvio Bluetooth speaker to Samsung LN-S3241D TV via digital optical wire and digital-to-analog audio adapter; the sound plays great but the volume can not be adjusted with the speaker controls,...

Check your menu on the Samsung to switch audio out selector. You might have to use ANALOG outputs instead.
you could then eliminate digital to analog adapter.
Analog out uses the RCA PLUGS.

SONY DVP-NS57P does not display video

If your TV has no input selector but has a video input, the TV probably "hides" the video input between the lowest channel on the tuner and the highest channel. That means if your tuner goes from channel 2 to channel 119, the video input will be between 119 and 2. The best way to see if this is the case is to slect channel 2 and then use the up/down channel selector to go down and see if you find the video input. Let me know if this works!

I am trying to connect my Samsung 56" DLP HDTV to my JVC THD50 home theatre system, all the speakers are hooked up correctly but I can't source from the tv to the speakers correctly, I connected a...

On the rear of the receiver you will notice several AUDIO IN connections. Make sure that the AUDIO IN and the receiver's input selector match (for example, if you are connected to AUDIO IN for the VCR section, the input selector on the FRONT of the receiver should also be VCR). Also, make sure that the input selector you are using is set to "Digital Audio" or a digital audio enabled equivalent and NOT analog. Check all connections again to make sure you have not grounded any speaker wire. Check to see if "MUTE" is on TV or Receiver. Try another audio in source just to make sure the speakers are connected properly. If that works, you can pretty much decide that it's either the input selection is wrong or the audio source is not set to digital 9also check to see if PCM is enabled and try setting to "AUTO" if you have that function. If you have option on receiver for speakers A and B, make sure selection matches your wiring.
