Connection problem I've got a logitech keyboard Y-RE20 and I don't know how can I connect it to my laptop without the reciver. I've hoped that if the laptop has a wirless port I would be able to connect the keyboard. Can you please tell me if there is a way to connect it or not? Thanks a lot for your help! Have a great day!

You will have to have the wireless receiver connected to the laptop. If your laptop has a bluetooth receiver built in, you could get a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. They also make small bluetooth receivers that plug into a USB port.

I hope this helps,

Eric

I bought a working logitech freedom 2.4 RF2.4 joystick. I have a reciver that connects my keyboard and mouse. Can i connect the joystick to it?

Not likely. The receivers tend to be brand proprietary. Bluetooth is the only universal standard used by many input devices.

It is regarding my Logitech MK300 wireless keyboard & mouse combo... Is there a way I can use just the wireless mouse without the keyboard, say with laptop? Right now, they are connected to my desktop...

I think you have to use the combo because each has sensor. trying to use just wireless mouse on a laptop might not work because your laptop cannot read the signal from mouse. Now check if both have bluetooth as that may work.

I moved computer and now my wireless keyboard does not work I have tried to connect using base station and put in new batteries...help please

On my logitech it came with a ps2 adapter for the keyboard connector on the antenna thing. That was always a problem. It would disconnect without warning. If this the the case don;t use the adapter just plug it into the usb port.If it using the usb then try a different port. You may need to reboot.

If the keyboard had good batteries then you may need to press the connect button on the antenna and then the connect button on the bottom of the keyboard before they will connect. Sometimes this will take a reboot or two and a few tries. Eventually it will work unless there is a actual hardware problem. I've never seen a actual dead logitech wireless. The one I am using right now I purchased in 2003 and its going strong. I use them on most of my pcs. They do get annoying once in a while just like you are seeing but they do eventually behave and work fine.

I have a Dell Logitech wireless keyboard that has recently quit working although the mouse is working fine. I have replaced the batteries to no avail. what is the next step?j

If you've replaced the batteries and it still isn't working, your last hope is to see if the keyboard has a reset or connect button on it. Press this (and the one on the dongle if there is one) and it should reset the connection. If not, you're going to need to buy a new keyboard i'm afraid, as this one is kaput.

Thanks

Dead keyboard. Yes! I have replace batteries, uninstalled everything, booted pc.

i just got off the phone with logitech tech support about my 'dead keyboard'. I have a logitech wireless keyboard/mouse ex100. the mouse still worked and the keyboard just quit all of the sudden like. THE FIX! 1. Make sure in your device manager that the keyboard is still connected and working properly. if it is...
2. then remove the batteries and type on the keyboard for 10 seconds or so.
3. Then reinsert the batteries.
4. press the left alt key, left control key, and the f12 key all at the same time.
5. Then press the connect button on the reciever
6. press the connect button on the keyboard
7. press the escape button on the keyoard
8. test the keyboard
it worked for me :) that's how i was able to type this. hope it works for you
