Ps3 internet hi i have ps3 but i dont know how to connect to the intenet or if you have to pay to use it plaese answere this i reli neeed to know.

First you will need dsl if you have this go to network settings then go to internet connection settings Choose either wired or wireless connection. Then when you are in address settings select easy you server should find all the information Then you must sign up for the playstation network once you are done you can play games online. It doesn't cost any money but it will ask for credit card info incase you want to download stuff.

A need help
you can set your playstation 3 online by two ways, 1- by a wired connection, and 2- Wireless,

1-Wired Connection: Plug an ethernet cable from your highspeed modem to the back ethernet input on your ps3 system, and follow on your ps3: Network Connection > Internet Connection Settings > Easy > Wired Connection. and follow steps
2- Wireless Connection: You must have a Router connecting ethernet cable from your intenet modem to the router, and follow on your ps3: Network Connection > Internet Connection Settings > Easy > Wireless Connection and follow steps,

hi dont worry sony are having down time at the moment its not a problem with your ps3 so dont try changing any settings this problem is world wide just give it time and it will sort itself out, i have answered loads of these problems with the ps3 in the last 24 hours so just give it time and you should have no problems logging in again

Internet connection
It depends... If you use a router for the Internet then you don't need any cable, just turn on the router and then go to the PS3 and configure the PS3 to work with the router. If you have wired internet, then you will need an Ethernet cable, but since the PS3 comes with an Ethernet cable, you don't need to buy one. With the Ethernet cable, you have 2 options. If your modem has an Ethernet port, then just connect the PS3 to the modem directly. If the modem doesn't have an Ethernet port or direct connection won't work, then you can use Internet Connection Sharing to connect your PS3 to the Internet.
