Hello,
I own a Motorola Razr V3 and the only key that works is the on off button. I have never dropped it, it was working fine for a year and one day it just stopped working. The screen still works and I can answer phone calls by opening the flip part, but I can't call anyone or text or anything that requires pushing a button unless it is to turn it on or off. Can anyone help me?
Thanks Marisha. Somehow, the phone suddenly started working properly before I read yours. May be I pressed the keys unintentionally :))Thanks Marisha. Somehow, the phone suddenly started working properly before I read yours. May be I pressed the keys unintentionally :))

Yes, I have same problem with Motorola RAZR V3 when the keys stopepd working (froze) and if I pushed them the browser would come up. The problem was solved by blowing hot air from a portable heater tothe phone (remove battery and SIM card first), and then blowing the back and front of the phone with moisture free air. Prior to failure the phone was exposed to humid atmosphere.Yes, I have same problem with Motorola RAZR V3 when the keys stopepd working (froze) and if I pushed them the browser would come up. Yes, I have the same problem. I had it in my pocket today, but then it rained pretty hard and got a little wet...not soaked, but wet. I have a feeling some of the water seeped into the internal parts.

My phone developed the same trouble............ Removed battery and SIM and blew dry air into anyhole I could find, put it back together and has worked ever since.
Hi i too had the same problem with my brand new phone , just clean the flex cable connections with alcohol , dry it and try using it , it actually worked for me .
The phone is locked. It should let you press the unlock code. Default is 1234 but some companies use the last 4 digits of your phone number. If you can't figure it out there are outfits on the internet that will unlock for $7.50.

its a simple problem and i dnt tink u will b able to do it.the main bord is connected 2 da key pad wichs also conects to da lcd.so basicly ur ribon is damaged.it cost about 150rand to repair.
if the only red buttons is working,
maybe your phone keypad flex ribbon is already damage.
or if you drop your phone and after that
the erd buttons is only function key keypad crystal is the prob.
your phone problem is the keypad flex of your phone'
you can fix it by replacing the keypad flex'
motorola dealer has the keypad flex'
ask for a skilled cellular technician to re-place your keypad fle..
i hope it will helf to your prob...
Press all of the buttons and keys on the phone one by one with it powered off and the battery out. Make sure they all feel normal to the touch and when pressed. Check the buttons on either side of the main display carefully, as these tend to get stuck more than others.
Um check and make sure that behind your keypad and see if there not blocked by dirt or something with your connection although your need tabs to check and see to get of your keypad but be carefull if you dont know what your doing and aint got insurance dont do it, i also think there is a solved problem about opening the keypad up. Hope that helps.
I tried, but didn't work...Any further suggestions??
