You don't need to take it all apart to get at the heat sink.
Take the strip off under the display (slides too the left to unlock) remove the keyboard. You will see a metal plate that covers the fan. (the fan is fixed too this plate. Remove the plate and the heat sink is underneath. You will probably find the fins are packed with lint. If you take the heat sink out be careful of the display cable that is bent around it and regrease the cpu when you replace it.

Is the light flashing for 10 seconds and then shutting the laptop back down?
This could be a number of things.
1. The memory needs to be re-seated in the motherboard (or it is bad)
2. The battery is bad.
If reseating the memory does not take care of the problem, remove the battery and power up the laptop on just the AC adapter (power cord). Once it comes up, you can put the battery back in, and hope that it takes a charge. You can get a replacement battery for pretty cheap online. That has fixed most of them I have had to deal with.

yeah its a hardware issue. majority it is problem with the Hard drive. sometimes it'll the problem with the planar (motherboard)
Anyway you plz try to re-install the operating system. It'll show error (bluescreen). If it doesnt shown plz complete that job. it'll work....
