Blinking lights on frigidaire dishwasher

Hello - Try resetting the dishwasher by disconnecting the power to the unit. This will clear most flashing lights. You can disconnect power by flipping the circuit house breaker off and back on for approximately two minutes. If this does not prove to be successful, contact a professional to move forward accurately. Dishwasher could possibly have a faulty control board or wiring failure.

My dishwasher was in the middle of a cycle and it just quit. The buttons dont light up. It doesn't turn on at all. What could be wrong with it?

Sonya, have you checked the circuit breaker in your home's circuit breaker panel to see it has been tripped? Also, is the dishwasher door tightly shut? If the breaker is tripped, reset it to see if the dishwasher trips it again. If it does, either breaker is faulty or the dishwasher has a short circuit in the electrical circuitry. You'll need an authorized service person for that.

Holiday tree....breaker flashes red when I try to reset it.

U have a short circuit in the wiring of the tree, this is what a circuit breaker is intended to do, until u remove the lighting (I am assuming it is lighting) from the tree and either replace it or repair the short the circuit breaker will continue to trip and the light to blink the red warning, this is a fire hazard, don't keep resetting the circuit breaker, have the short repaired.

My FDB2810Ldc1 dishwasher won't stop going thru the cycles. We have to open the door to stop it. When the door is closed again it starts and will continue for hours if the door is not opened again.

The first thing I would try, is to to reset the washer by unplgging it with the door open. You can do this by manually pulling the plug or by tripping the breaker that goes to that plug.
Hope this works for you,

The dishwasher starts and initially rinses the dishes without heated water. In the next part of the cycle, the water is supposed to heat to a certain temperature.Beginning this morning, in this second part...

The issue is with the heating element of your dishwasher, it is withdrawing very large amount of power and thus, the circuit gets overloaded and circuit breaker trips. You'll need to check for any short circuits around the heater element. And, also the resistance of the heater element, it should be around 1.4K ohms to 1.8K ohms.

Dishwasher tripping the circuit breaker

Andy, leave the breaker off and remove the toe panel (bottom panel) from the dishwasher. Remove the cover of the junction box where the cord connection or wiring is made. Look at the wire caps and see if they are not burnt. Sometimes these connections become loose and arch, tripping the breaker. If so, cut the wires, strip a new end and reconnect. back.
