Question about Sony CLIE PEG-N760C Handheld
I purchased a memory stick for my clie and it beeps (a good beep) when inserted but it isnt detecting the memory stick? Help please
Do you share this memory stick with other devices? If you pulled out the memorystick before the device(s) were finished closing the connection, the card may be corrupted. Another thing may be because your memory stick may be too large for your handheld to support. if you don't wanty to refund your $ just shrink the memory stick into a gig or less. You have to have a pc with a memory card reader that supports memory stick. just open up my computer> right click the memory stick> Fortmat and select a smaller size to format to.

Is simple. you just have to clean the memory stick port with clean it with just blowing in the hole. My clie did to me.

Can you verify that the memory stick is not too large (memory wise)? I had the same problem with my Tungsten E2. I bought a 2GB card. It would beep, but not recognize it because the E2 will only accept a max of 1GB.
