I am now on my 2nd, brand new, stainless steel, Whirlpool microwave. The first one lasted 4 months. This one lasted 32 days. Great product. I would definitely recommend it to people who have money, but wish they had less of it.

Mine lasted two years....then the door wouldn't stay shut, but I fixed that and yesterday, no power. No lights no nothing. Now I have to spend my sunday tearing it apart to try and fix it. If I have to replace it, it won't be with another whirlpool!Mine lasted two years....then the door wouldn't stay shut, but I fixed that and yesterday, no power. No lights no nothing. I had the same problem and fixed it with the help of others in this forum. There's a 250V 4A slow-blow fuse in a holder in one of the wires running from the main circuit breaker. Just behind the upper end of the control panel. Replacing said fuse got me running again.

Check the power fuser in back of unit. You'll need to take the screws out and open it up. If your not comfortable with this you may want to call a technician to come out.

Take the unit apart and carefully inspect the wires under the keypad...short of that..junk it and get a new one. It seems they just don't make things the way tey used to.
You would be better off replacing the microwave oven, it is at the end of life.To replace parts would easily cost more than a new item, plus prices have dropped considerably over the years.
have a good look at front to see reset??.press it once it comes back on unplug from the wall and & open it up and go to the part and give it a good clean with wd40, check the push pad for ware & tare dirt gathers and builds up
First, there is an outlet. Plug in something else. Inside the key panel, there are fuses and a thermo sensor. Either may be bad. The thermosensor is about the diameter of a dime, black and 3/8 inch thick...attached to the wall of the chamber. All should have continuity.
