Freezes I bought a pre-owned xbox 360 a week ago, i played forza 2 on it for hours wivout any problems, now suddenly the whole console freezes, no red lights or nothing. There are faint lines on the screen, sometimes blocky. Can you help?

It can be due to faulty battery or with the motherboard try to remember wheather it have been dropped down accidentally then the display would have broken inside

Well, I would take it back. I believe that most places especially if you bought it at gamestop/ebgames, you should be able to get another one. If it is freezing with no red lights then it could be the motherboard that is messing up. if you can't take it back, you need to send it in to get it fixed to xbox and or another repair place. thanks, Connie

hey there, I would open the Xbox 360 dashboard, then go to memory, and press Y on the hard drive to open the "Device Options" menu. Then press the following sequence of buttons: X, X, LB, RB, X, X. You will be asked if you want to perform maintenance on your hard drive and delete all patches.select yes I hope this helps

CAPC: Is the Game (LOST PLANET) as far as I can tell you. I have the same problem with it and unfortunatedlly it has something to do, not with the console, but with a patch from Microsoft. We should wait until a new realeased patch from Microsoft is posted on their site. For now the only hard way to finish LOST PLANET is that at every concluded mission to quit the session and wait until it AUTO-SAVE itself to XBOX 360's Hard Drive. SithPitt
